I deleted most of your text, I just want to focus (forgive the pun) on
the above.  I am also experiencing the blurring that you mention, but I
didn't always.  I am not sure what the culprit is, but perhaps it is the
capacitor on the colorswitch card.  Old caps can leak, and maybe that is
a factor.  Any hardware gurus want to take a shot at this?  The card has
a bunch of resistors' 2 74 series logic chips, some transistors and one
cap
