Re: IIgs questions

I have downloaded junk, and checked out the IIgs sites.

It takes _ALOT_ of time to transfer the software to my IIGS from IBM, over
serial cable, Use Binscii on it, Uzip it, Unshrink it. 15 minutes later I
have a 32k program on my IIgs.

And it doesn't do what I want!

So, I wasted a ton of time, and others have already been fooling with the
IIgs for years.

Why should I go and download every program that look interesting, when
Others could tell me what they like and what it does?

Most software for the apple II available for download looks like this:

Name: Size

game 45K

OK, so what does the game do? 15 minutes of fooling around to get it to
work on my II only to find out it is really dumb is a waste of time.

YOUR FAQ: It seems to _ME_ like it needs to be re-organized. It is hard
to find what I need sometimes.

YOUR complaint, comment about Spoon Feeding; Go to Hell. At least I am
Posting APPLE II information REQUESTs on an APPLE II newsgroup, instead of
CRAP like you seem to like doing.

I bet you'll reply to this, and we'll get a great big flame war. I
scrolled up through some of the recent messages. Almost all of your posts
are attacks, or rambling.

Suggestions: #1 Take a look at your FAQ, and see if you can revise it to
be easier to use (SEARCH! I tried the search function the other day
(which the FAQ really needs), and it does not seem to work very well)

#2 If you see something that someone posts, and you do not like it, it
annoys you, or you just feel like making an attack, take a breather and
cool down.
