Re: differnces between //e CPU chips
I have seen at least five different chips in the 6502
sockets of //es and would like to know how they differ. I
believe those with "C" in the middle have more operation
codes (are enhanced) than do those without "C" but the
variety of them, especially the "S" is a mystery to me.
Here are the names I have noted:
65C02A G65SC02P-2 R65C02P1 370-6502 R6502-4C
Please tell me here or at p035631b@pb.seflin.org what the
different chips can do.

but the one in the header is shorter and technically superior. However
