Don't know where you got that info (unreliable), I never heard that. My
Rocket worked from day one, and still works (about 15 years, I think is
has been). The Rocket was faster than the Zip and offered more options.
When I use an unaccelerated IIe, I am always surprised at how slow it
seems. You tend to get spoiled. My IIe has the Rocket, 1 MB mem, serial
card, parallel card, mouse, duo disk, 3.5 disk. hard disk and RGB color.
Even though I have a SuperMac, I still use the IIe sometines.
