You can order AppleWorks 5.1 from Scantron Quality Computers at
800-890-8263 /800-777-3642
but AWks 5.x requires 256K or better of RAM. You may be better off getting
a copy of AWks 4.x, which I believe that they also still sell. An
inexpensive VT100 terminal is Kermit. (Does "free" count as inexpensive?).
However, ZLink (shareware) is easier to set up and use. Talk is Cheap,
which ic excellent software, according to a friend who has it, was being
sold for a mere $15U.S. a copy a while ago. It may be worthwhile to see if
there are any copies left. The address I have for him is:
