Sam Virus

On startup I do get interrupted each time by a message; "There is a
problem getting the Sam Virus Definitions file. Either the file is not in
the systems folder, or it is invalid." The file is in the systems folder
and I was using it for two years without any problems. I did install OS 8
recently. Can anyone help?
