This sounds like "The Immortal" from Electronic Arts. The view is
similar to "Diablo" and it is the only game of the kind for GS.
'Immortal offers exceptional graphics and other nice features. (In
fact, so does EA's Zany Golf-- which has one of the best ever intros of any
Apple game.) Unfortunately, like Zany Golf, Immortal falls short on game
design 'nuts & bolts'.
The major flaw relates to Game Saves. 'Immortal includes a moderately
challenging arcade element which makes it easy to get killed at several
points in the exploration of each Level. Yet, the adventure allows no Game
Save except at the end of each Level. This problem may be circumvented in
some hacked versions but it pretty well squelched interest in the original
release.
