Help me ID this card

I picked up an Apple II card today but I'm not sure what it is for.  I don't 
see any company name or markings on it.  There is a 50 pin connector along the 
front edge of the card.  One socketed chip which appears to be an EPROM with 
the following on it :

8443EPP
AM2732ADC
(c) 1983 AMD

The only things I can see printed on the board is that it is REV E and is 
dated JAN 24 '85.  The is also an

SCI
TYP. 1A

Is this a SCSI controller maybe?
