Tom, this *sounds* highly paranoic.  I'm *not* saying you're paranoid
(so please don't tear into me here), I'm saying this particular post
seems to impart overmuch importance upon Joe.  He's certainly an
important part of the Apple II community (you have to admit that,
regardless of your personal feelings toward him), but he doesn't have
the power to prevent people from discussing the KFest goings-on.

Fact is that it's easier to talk about this stuff elsewhere, where the
flame wars aren't drowning out the intelligent conversation.  Shame,
eh?
