Subject: Trojan horse on Apple IIGS
Someone reported to me yesterday that they found on of my programs with a
Trojan horse in it. I think that's the right terminonology. It was in
Music Composer, a shareware version. The person who found said he got it
from a friend who got it from a friend and it had no documentation. When
he played a song the words "Bite me" showed up. And when he tried the
about item an obscene picture was there with some text and then his
computer crashed.
It's bad news that someone would put a trojan horse in one of my programs,
but it's good news that someone thought it worth the effort to write one
for the IIGS. So beware, it does happen.
