     Not really. The only sub-mini connectors on our '486 PC go to the 
mouse and KB; but, this may change after an upgrade to a Pentium MMX or 
AMD K6 system.

     For NULL modem transfers to/from the GS there is a 9-to-25 cable 
plugged into a PC 9-pin serial port. The 25-pin end connects to a 
home-brew NULL modem which connects to the GS via a "high speed" modem 
cable. This setup works fine.
