For those who aren't aware, the author of the above post *is* a hell of
a programmer who *does* code with frequency (between beers), and for the
love of the platform and not money.  2qwk!, GZPK, Qfix, BSCit, LuFiCeR,
and FontPimp (the Mac TT -> GS TT program he's working) on are all great
programs which are free from the FTPs.  If he went on monitary/shareware
fees alone we wouldn't have these utilities -- and this is the attitude
that more people on this quite-alive dead platform need to have.

 EC(| Anyway, if you do have a vote, propose csa2.moderated rather than
    | trying to moderate the current newsgroup.
