The Cannon BubbleJet series of printers (at least the older ones)
emulates the Epson LQ series of printers very well, and its output is
spectacular compared to the "real" Epson LQ dot matrix printers, and
really fast and quiet.
The last one that had DIP switches like a "real printer" (as opposed
to those silly "windows only" printers with "one button") was/is the
Cannon BJ 200ex. I myself have a 200e and it works well as both a text
printer and as a graphics printer with TimeOut Superfonts.
Virtually,
Warr
