Will Global village ADB modem work with Apple IIGS?

I just got this modem.  It is Teleport/Bronze for mac Performa model a861.

It has ADB and serial connectors.

Will this modem work on a IIgs?

And if it does......

Do you need software to run this modem on a IIgs?  (where can I get it?)
or how do I get it to work?
