  I don't have a clue as to the newness of your ProFile or wheather it was

  I have the Profile card for the apple /// and you can make the 25-pin cable
from a straight through 25-pin cable and remove just one pin (you may fry
something if the extra pin is not removed or so I've been told). The pin to
remove is pin number seven...repeat pin number seven....7...7...
