I can still take either a single hole punch or dikes and just make the hole in the right place without a guide. In the case of the latter, it's just a V notch that gets made. Or scissors .. alas, though - I have a few varieties of notcher including a modified electric stapler that we actually paid an hourly wage for someone to sit there and notch disks back in the day.
