If the profiles working, it'd be a shame but if the profile drive is
dead then without converting it to something it's pretty much a
doorstop. I suspect that most Profile and Sider drives have died by
now but the power supply and case are still good. I got a number of
dead Sider drives from a former dealer. I converted a couple to SCSI
because I really can't think of another use for a dead one. Have a
couple of Profiles that may or may not be dead, If I knew they were
dead, I'd consider converting one of those. Won't do that unless I run
across a profile card to test them with.
