I don't have a RAMfast, but I recall that the makers don't recommend using it
in a //e. They never said it flat won't work. Recommendations are just that -
your mileage may vary when you don't pay attention. But all you'll get is an
"I told you so" if you have problems.
A good example is when Apple discovered a bug in the CFM-68K extension and
recommended that people disable it until a fix was done. I never did do
that and never saw any problems. But if I had, no one would have felt sorry
for me.
