Double Sided Double Density (DSDD-- 360K 5.25" disks and 720K 3.5"
disks) will work fine with Apple II models. High Density 5.25" disks
are right out, as the magnetic properties of the disk surface changed
from DD disks and won't work. DOS 3.3's "init" command (and the rest
of DOS 3.3) can only deal with 5.25" drives normally; 3.5" requires
serious patching.
