Long life battery!!!

I finally got around to powering up the //gs I picked up last weekend.  Ian
had told me that the system hadn't been powered on for at least 6 years,
and that he was sure the battery would be dead, etc.

Well, not only was the battery *not* dead, but the date was correct and the
time was only about 15 minutes off (slow)!!!!  Needless to say, I was
stunned!

Kinda gives a new meaning to "Apple // forever"!     :-)
