: You will at least be able to do simple text printing, but no color
: support and no graphics support. MS does NOT have drivers for the
: Imagewriters, as far as I've seen in my experience.

Check out Ghostscript (http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/), the free
PostScript interpreter. It has two drivers for the Imagewriter (one
low-res and one high-res). That'll surely give you graphics support,
but it won't let you do color. (The drivers were actually written for
the Apple Dot Matrix Printer, which I don't know anything about. But
I never really used color support even when I could.) I have
practically no experience using these drivers, though, so I can't
really help if they don't work for you.
