     No problem.

     Evidently, your group lacks experience working under a government 
grant. What you need is a Pre-beta User Friendliness Feasibility 
Sampling! This PUFFS phase can take as long as you wish and, whether or 
not it accomplishes anything, will make everyone feel much better.
