    I very much doubt you'll get a perfect reproduction of your old
songs using a software emulator, especially considering they're all 
still in beta form. Mind you, XGS for Windows does an excellent job 
with MIDIsynth so you may get lucky (it really depends on the speed
of the machine and how well written the Ensoniq emulation routines
have been written). It's worth a try in any case, you've nothing to
lose.

    Well Music Composer for the IIgs can import Music Studio format and
then export as MIDI data files. I'm not sure how well it works though,
as I've never tried this myself. Another option is to use Music Studio's
built-in MIDI support to export live to another system (I have my IIgs
and PC linked together between an Audio Animator and Roland MPU-401).
The only catch with MIDI is you'll lose the wavebanks patches used by
Music Studio, though they didn't sound that great to begin with... ;)
