It requires a complete motherboard swap, there was more to the ROM 3
than just firmware changes (and incase your wondering, no, you cannot
mix ROM chips from the two motherboard revisions, besides the fact that
the firmware was later placed onto a pair of chips rather than just one).

Not really, unless you purchased a BitMouse interface from Sequential
Systems (which is intended to allow 8-bit Apple II's use PC serial mice).
If it functions like the Apple mouse card, it will not even work under
GS/OS on the ROM 3 board. Better to search for a used ADB mouse, I would
suggest browsing the Mac marketplace groups.

If "M.T." is the Mark Twain, it'd certainly be worth grabbing. As far
as I know, those prototypes are even more rare than Apple I's (of course
they're certainly not worth nearly as much, in fact I'd wager they're not
worth anything outside the Apple II community). I think only 20-25 were
ever produced and several were actually destoryed by Apple.
