I just took one of these off the Hayes Micromodem IIe (i think it was
called) 2 days ago. I gave the card to a guy here at work. It seems
that Hayes is offering to take any modem + $90 (or so) in swap for
their 56k modem. I'm turning in an external Hayes Smartmodem 300.
If you don't trade in a Hayes modem, it costs you a little more.
Checkout http://www.hayes.com/ and follow the "56k offer" links.

Now, back to David's need: I'll gladly GIVE away the cable that goes
from the modem card to the phone line. It's of no use to me. I took
it off prior to the modem's turn-in for just such a situation.
