Just to correct the record here (11 years later), the 16-pin gameport
connector on the motherboard is electrically different than the 16-pin
connector on the Soundchaser keyboard. The Passport Soundchaser
keyboard has a specific expansion card that you plug the keyboard
into.
I'd hate to see people zapping their vintage Apple //s or rare
Soundchaser keyboards because of this confusion.
