Yes! Origin should have offered fancy certificates to winners, the
way they did for the Ultimas.

There is a note about using the Silence spell to prevent being
summoned. There was, also, a Shield spell which offered some protection.
(I do seem to recall using the Silence spell in some tricky maneuvers
near the door to the Dust room.)

Did you find the secret door in the SE part of Xavier's castle? (It
goes, south, to a room just west of the room with the Dust.) Inside is a
manual with the Energy Blast spell which I may have tried against Xavier.
Still, no, I do not remember killing Xavier.

My notes have a question mark by the Wizard's hat, too. (Was there a
chance to give it to Fizzle?-- e.g. to garner some extra Level points.)
Unfortunately, it is not clear when these notes were made. If it was just
after completing the first Tale, then, perhaps the hat has a function
later on. It may be needed to get the snowman going in the third Tale
(but, only the coal, carrot, and pipe are noted). Or, it may have been
required when casting the Portal Fixing spell.

The wine is not mentioned in my notes. Looking at the maps and
notes, a few possible tries are suggested. For instance, would the
"foolhardy chap" who wants to slay Xavier be interested in the wine? Is
the wine an alternative to the Silence spell (e.g. you get drunk and are
immune to summoning)? ...

It's a good thing you caught that! (Thanks.) One of my notes pages
has a "Dungeon Beneath CG" heading; but, some other 'dungeon' maps were
added later. The notes have been corrected.

The dungeon to which I was referring is, evidently, the one you get
to by going down a vine. As you probably know, this is where you meet
Alvin; and, in the far SE corner is a secret door.
