Help need a Mail Server

I don't know jack about macs!  I do know jack about IBM networks.  I need a
groupware product that can serve IBM and Macs.  Does a mail client come
with all Macs, even the LC models( Idont know what os the are currently
using)?  Does exchange server really cut it when it comes to Macs, How
about notes? If anyone sees this and has some good leads please write!!!! 
How about TCP on Macs? Is a TCP stack for all OS's available?  How about 
a web browser for older mac OS's??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
