If a RAM disk is a must have, that's a good way to have memory, since you use
the slinky memory as RAM disk instead of system memory. I have a ROM 3 on
my desk, and it has a 4 mb memory card in the memory slot and a 1 mb slinky
in slot 5. With none of the 5 mb of system memory used as RAM disk, I have
more memory than I know what to do with. On top of that, I can format the
slinky either as 1 mb or as 800K. That's a really handy feature. So I'd sug-
gest putting the slinky in the IIgs, however much system memory it has.
