Jameco CP/M ramdisk

Hi,

I'm attempting to use the Jameco Electronics Expand-A-Ram CP/M
Ramdisk software (c1982) with the Microsoft Softcard (Z80) on my Apple
][gs. Here's my situation:

The instructions for the Expand-A-Ram say it will work with most
any memory card, so I've tried to use it with both my Apple ][gs memory
AND the actual Jameco card (in slot 5). The results are the same: The
software works fine setting up the ramdisk (128k per slot max), and I'm
able to "dir" the ramdisk, but it is always write protected.

The Jameco instructions don't mention anything about this, so I'm
thinking this might be a ][gs incompatibility.

Has anybody ever tried this and/or have any pointers?

FYI: I'm just starting with CP/M, so forgive me if there is
something simple like a disk-write-protect command or something like
that; I haven't been able to find anything like that in the documentation
though.

	Thanks in advance.
