[Q] Was GS/OS System 6.0 'Reclassified' ??

I meant to ask this question a LONG time ago.

When I bought my Apple IIGS back long while ago, it came with
System 5.02. Somehow, I gotten myself to buy a copy of System 6.01 thru a
group of friends doing a mass order, and bought a licensed System 6.01 (I
think was from Alltech Electronics).

I know that it is an item on the Apple's catalogue, part number
A0077LL/A (which I have a proud original, boxed, manuals from Apple) also
HyperCard 1.1, and System Master 6 CD, which all I would NEVER part with.

I know it is avaliable for downloads from Apple's FTP sites, or
purchase from a licenced source, e.g. ByteWorks.

How would one define it ? Another reclassification from Commercial
to Freeware ? It's free to download from the Apple FTP sites, which has a
license file to read before downloading.

Another ponder for the csa2 community.

	Regards.
