The last issue of Softdisk GS (#82) contained an NDA that will help you
save JPEGs in a standard SHR format. It was written because the GS JPEG
decoding program is a viewer, without a save command. But this DA will
save the contents of the front window to disk.

I haven't used it, but I've never seen an SDGS product that simply didn't
work. Also, this issue is a collectors' item. Also, it contains an
excellent article by me.
