Well, I cannot give you the tech specs, but I just drejjjed up an old ad in a 
copy of A+ from '85 that had an add in it.

Heres what it says it does..

64k/80 column text (//e only)
16 shades of gray
improved readability
RGB modes
4 text colours in RGB and 4 text shades in grayscale
Plug compatable with IBM type RGB monitors

I'ld like to give you the name of the manufacturer, but alas that part of the 
add was torn off.. sorry..
