If using a IIe or IIc, PublishIt!
If using a IIGS, GraphicWriter III or AppleWorks GS.
Several years ago, I wrote a step-by-step article for Shareware Solutions II
(http://www.crl.com/~joko) about using a Desktop Publishing Program to
create Print Shop-style greeting cards and outputting those cards to laser
and/or ink jet printers.
Since I started using AWGS to print out my greeting cards, I haven't missed
Print Shop once.
After all, on a IIGS, it's trivial to convert PS graphics to a format that
can be used with a GS DTP. And, you can oputput your cards to ANY printer
that is supported by GS/OS.
And, the output to a Postscript based LaserWriter is absolutely stunning!
To top it off, Shareware Solutions II even held a DTP contest and all the
contest entries (some of which will knock your socks off) are available on
3.5" disk from SSII.
For AppleWorks GS, the 2 disk set is $6.
For GraphicWriter III, the 2 disk set is $6.
For PublishIt 4, the one disk set is $4.

Please note that the disks aren't limited to just greeting cards. There are
newsletter templates, order forms, envelopes with matching stationery, and
all sorts of other amazing things that people use dtp for.
Who needs the Print Shop when you have Shareware Solutions II?
