    I think it is short sighted, to say the least, limiting distribution 
of Apple II software at this point in time. Especially when the software
is question is _not_ something for entertainment value, but a must-have
utility what with Base64 having become so common. It is freeware, but you 
must be able to access Delphi to obtain it? I don't see the logic. No
more than if ShrinkIt GS were made "DelphiWare". 

    I could certainly make use of a Base64 decoder/encoder for my IIgs,
but it appears I'm one of the many people who will be restricted access
to it (I'm not a Delphi member, nor can I afford the service). The sad
part is I have a PC on my desk, and if I can't get the software, it'll
just mean I'll use the PC for that task instead. Encouraging people to
join Delphi is a nice idea, but I think encouraging people to use their
_Apple II's_ is a better one. Software is the fuel/life-blood of the
computer, always remember that.
