I'm currently working on such a project. Not having any experience
with Linux's Virtual Filesystem layer, I've decided to start by
adapting Robert Leslie's HFS Utilties to work on ProDOS volumes. So
far I've got it recognizing ProDOS partitions and the volume directory
header. It's still in the very early pre-alpha stages of development,
and I haven't had much time lately to work on it, but I hope to do a
lot more work on it this summer.
