Actually, by default, any Apple IIc manufactured from late 1985
onwards shipped with the UniDisk 3.5 compatible firmware (ROM '0')
and the original motherboard.
Additionally, if you took your Apple IIc into an Apple dealer
for the serial port glitch, they'd often swap the motherboard
for one with the oscillator modication and ROM '0' pre-installed.
