According to an addendum included with my memory board that came
from Sequential Systems, both AppleWorks 2.0 _and_ 2.1 will crash if
2 MB or more of memory is present on the IIgs.
There is a small Applesoft program to patch this bug, it can be
found on the RAM-GS diagnostic disk (at least later revisions of it).
When I had Jawaid check it's status a few years back, the owner of
Sequential Systems said it was not freely distributable yet could
be purchased for $15 or so through them (rather petty if you ask me,
when all it is, is a 2-3K BASIC program that patches a few bytes).
