    It was published by Britannica Software back in 1989, written by
Visual Concepts. A few years later BRCC (Big Red Computer Club) took
over the distribution rights, but now no longer exists. There is no
place that sells Task Force (or 98% of other IIgs games titles for
that matter) so your left with little opinion other than searching 
for a used original copy, or making a copy.

    I suppose someone could check with Scott Patterson, the author,
and see if he would be interested in reclassifing it (assuming the
rights have reverted back to him, which was not the case with his
unfinished Sword of Sodan game :/).  It's a shame though it has 
fallen into limbo, as it was probably the best game ever written 
for the Apple IIGS.
