Yep. Feel free to E-Mail me if you want faster turnaround.

I take it that you are referring to either STARTAEPC or AEPC.SYSTEM?

I can think of two possible explanations for this behaviour:

1. The software may be attempting to use invalid configuration and not
getting very far. Try pressing the space bar immediately after you
launch AEPC.SYSTEM. This causes the PC Transporter to enter its Control
Panel before booting commences. You can then configure the PCT (refer
to the manual for details).

2. The video hardware is not connected correctly. The PC Transporter
title screen is shown on the Apple II Hi-res graphics screen, but
subsequent output goes via the PC's video output. Do you have the
"ColorSwitch" card installed and connected correctly? Are you using an
AppleColor RGB monitor (the standard IIgs RGB monitor)?

This doesn't require using AEPC.SYSTEM, etc. All you need is to boot
via a copy of ProDOS which has been patched using the PCINSTALL program.

This can be done to a ProDOS-8 or GS/OS boot disk. It modifies the
PRODOS file in the root directory by attaching the PC Transporter disk
driver software. When you launch that copy of PRODOS, it downloads the
driver into the PC Transporter before resuming normal operation.

To do that, you will need to be able to get into PC mode. The TRANSFER
program supplied with the PC Transporter runs under MS-DOS.

Do you have a 720K 3.5" MS-DOS boot disk? You will need one before you
get any further. I've used MS-DOS versions 3.3 and 5.0 on the PCT.
Earlier versions are easier to fit on a 720K disk.
