Help : memory expansion doesn't work !

Hello,

I have a Rom03 IIGS and I'm attemping to install a BlueCard (which is able
to use PC 3,5" floppies). During the installation, I have to remove my 4MB
memory expansion in order to isolate a problem.

But when I replace the memory expansion, my IIGS doesn't work any more. The
power led is on, but the screen is black. I have to remove the memory
expansion, and my IIGS works properly. But with 1Mb, it isn't enough for
GS/OS :-( ...

I've already tried twice without success. The brand of the memory expansion
is just : "Firmware design 1989".

Any ideas in order to solve this annonying problem ?
