I am sitting in my usual Gateway 2000 e-mail room here at the college.
No Apples, not even Macs, because the rulers here say they are not "real
computers."
But I have a grin on my face because today is "virus-panic day" ---- five
of 30 Gateways have crashed in two hours, with whistles, erased hard
drives, etc. Sheer panic among the PEE CEE guys! I am waiting to heard
more whistles from more Gateways.... Its like hearing "jackpots" in a
casino!
We Apple II users enjoy virus-free computing. I've gotten software from
all imaginable sources (flea markets, yard sales, the net, etc.) and have
never yet seen a virus.
Long live A2! ;=) Steve Buggie
