Interesting... At least you have tried. To which you have my thanks.

I'll also add my few pennies worth, which I add, I have already replied
thus to the many hypocritical, self righteous people who tried to
lecture me on this via e-mail...

My opinion is this... (this is not a dig at dennis's reply btw.)
If you have been keeping an eye on the rainbow project, No-one supports
this computer to any large degree anymore, and most of it's software is
no-longer sold. Hence a large proportion of it's software is and should
be reclassified into the public domain.

I have tried to get a copy from Microsoft and found them generally
uncooperative when it comes to anything thats older than 2 years. I even
had a hard time getting the function reference manual for Access 2.0.

Now maybe I'm just getting this degree of non-cooperation because it's
the NZ office of MS, but I doubt it.

Surely most will agree that TASC is so irrelevant to microsoft's current
revenue sources, that it is almost not worth being pedantic about it's
copyright anymore. Most of the stuff at asimov is in this same category.

I can't comment for Microsoft U.S., but if no-one will sell me a peice
of software anymore, how else am I supposed to get it?
