I believe AutoArk has an option to protect files. It's commercial
software and is sold from EGOsystems, you can request more info
from diz@chattanooga.net
If you are content with a program which locks your whole AppleIIgs,
you may look for a program called Security Password which can be
found on ftp.uni-kl.de and the major Appleii sites.

The back issues of SDGS are still commercial, so you should write
to support@softdisk.com to order a legal copy. Or wait a while, they
plan to set up a file server at http://www.softdisk.com where you can
download all the old back issues.
