Re: Can Computer Power Supply Be Used to Charge Car Battery?

Me again!

Many readers advised me not to do it; the ideal DC voltage for a bar
battery charger is about +14volts. So, I finally bought a new car
battery charger!

Thanks to all who responded.

: QUESTION: Can an IBM-style power supply be used to charge a car battery?
: It has a +12v line that might be suitable. The larger ones (200-230
