No can do.  It is a sealed unit.  If you were going to try to use an
external battery, you would probably need to get exactly the right sort,
and it would have to be wired into the chip correctly, without
interfering with the socket connection.

It would be much easier to simply buy another SmartWatch chip from
Dallas Semiconductor (or a chip merchant).  The part number is DS1216E.
