I disagree. Just like a 128K Mac and an integer only Apple ][, a ROM 0
signature edition has a collectible appeal as an unmodified early production
box. Granted, usability is on par with these examples. That's why I snatched
the signature edition with ROM 0 and unupgraded, but not defective, VGC which
I spotted in a used computer store a few months ago. It complements my one
owner signature edition box which sports a ROM 3 board and sits next to the
ol' 840.

FWIW, there are two signature editions on auctionweb as of this morning.
