The Amiga monitors should work if they are the older "original"
Amiga monitors. I believe later Amigas used GS incompatible monitors.
I'm sure an Amiga-savvy reader will confirm or pulverize this statement
though :-)
The two Amiga monitors I _know_ work are numbered something like 1082
or 1084 (1802/1804??). The first was 1082 and the second added stereo
speakers (nothing major mind you) and had an 'S' tacked on to the
monitor model # (1082S). Again, please remember that these model numbers
are probably off and need to be confirmed by others.
The NEC MultiSync IIA will work with the IIgs. I vaguely recall someone
mentioning here several years ago that the whole MultiSync II line
could work with the GS. (They must have a horiz. sync rate of 15.75).

Yep, look in the FAQ for pinouts and probably monitor info.
