Four times $40 is $160. The retail on a unidisk card was $69. And I've never
seen a UDC nor known anyone with one. And if Adalbert dosn't have one, none
of this matters right? I saw someone selling a HD20SC for $35 today, less
than what a UDC would cost if you could find one. This would beat using a
HD20 even if you are remembering right from "many years ago" and it would
work.

: Hint: does MacOS 7.5.5 support an external 400K floppy?

I just tried connecting a 400K external to my SE/30 running 7.5.5 and put
in a 400K disk and the system crashed rather hard. Don't get your point
in bringing this up, but that's how it is. FWIW, the SE/30 totally ignores
the HD20.

: The reason I say the HD20 looks like a floppy is because IIe
: software kept saying that it was a 3.5" floppy (when you open
: the volume, it is much larger, of course).

That's how my Chinook CT-20c shows up on my //e with unidisk card. It's
designed and documented to work with that interface. HD20s are neither
designed nor documented to work with IIs.
