Yes, it can be done, and it has been done. The best way to do it is to have the
IIgs connected to an IBM that is telnet-ready. You log into the IBM, which then
does a null-modem connect to the IIgs.

We're working on a similar system down here in Lubbock with the local telnet
board. We're not ready to turn it loose on the world just yet, but so far it's
doing nicely. :-)  As a BBS software, might I recommend FutureVision, which is
available from ftp.ecaetc.ohio-state.edu, but I'm biased towards it anyway.
